Spiritual Teacher, Intuitive, Editor-in-Chief of Believe Magazine & Speaker

I wasn’t always a spiritual teacher or intuitive, I fell into this work when I decided to stop hiding from me.

As a young child, I was actually very quiet and spent a lot of time alone. In fact, I rarely spoke up at school, petrified I would be attacked for speaking, which attracted the very thing I tried to avoid.

This debilitating belief, several years later caused the physical manifestation of a disease.

At 23, still afraid to speak up. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  Immediately, I felt like an “express post” brick had been dropped in with such knowingness and clarity, loudly pronouncing; MY FEAR OF SPEAKING HAD CAUSED THIS.

It was this experience that led to my spiritual wake-up call.

Things took a turn for the worse. The malignant nodule was surgically removed but I was informed the cancer had spread and could cause bone cancer. I was advised to have the other half of my thyroid removed, coupled with conventional medical treatment.

That express post brick of knowingness, in absence of thought, permeating throughout my entire body gave me total certainty to say NO. I have remained cancer free since.

The path to understand why this had happened to me had opened up like a giant sink hole in the earth and swallowed me up. It was the signpost pointing to my purpose, although I thought it was just a hobby.

“I had to step out of the shadow, to reveal the light”

I learnt about alternative medicine, spontaneous medical remissions, sat at the feet of Buddhist nuns, monks and shamans, practiced meditation and yoga, studied metaphysics, consciousness and simultaneously used life to gain an experiential spiritual qualification of some degree that revealed two distinctive areas that gurus, spiritual teachers, wise elders and mystical teachings throughout the ages have shared.

1. The mind and its Groundhog Day of incessant thoughts creates a world of emotional duality and the subsequent manifestation of it.

2. There is an inner being, formless, connected to source, peaceful and alive, where thought does not reside.

To embody these realisations, it was a roller coaster ride of being burnout, angry and separated from my true self, to being so in flow that thinking seemed redundant, as one effortless synchronistic opportunity after the other would appear. It took the form of a varied career across fashion design, a Spiritual Festival, Civil construction and Consulting in the Humanitarian sector. I became a qualified Counselor and a Psychological Astrologer, a Permaculture designer, with qualifications in Sustainable farming and Soil micro biology. I studied naturopathy, Image consultancy and traded on the stock market.

A lot…and all careers seemingly unrelated.

Yet that path travelled wasn’t a mistake.

It was the experimentation and embodiment of repeating the same negative beliefs about who I thought I was, that led to awareness to dissolve the identity created by them.

“Our beliefs stem from the constriction of the mind. Diminish the stream of thoughts and knowingness will infuse from within”

Fast forward to present day;

I now work, connect and support women who are committed…women who know they are the full picture, yet have only viewed half of the masterpiece.

I am passionate about empowering women who are in business, have careers and are spiritual seekers who want to identify the root cause of frustration, blocks or painful emotions.  Women who want to awaken more of their beingness and timeless wisdom, inevitably connecting with joy, aliveness, wealth, fulfilling relationships and meeting life’s challenges with awareness.
